Die Krainer Quiche ist nach ihrer Hauptzutat benannt - der Krainer Wurst. Es handelt sich um eine herzhafte Quiche, die sich hervorragend als eigenständiges Gericht, als Beilage oder als kalter Snack eignet. Sie ist glutenfrei und ohne Getreidemehl, was sie auch für Diabetiker geeignet macht!

ZUTATEN (für eine Backform mit einem Durchmesser von 24 cm):

  • 3 Eier
  • 200 ml süße Sahne
  • 100 g geriebener Käse
  • Schnittlauch, eine Prise Salz, Knoblauchpulver

Bereitung des Teigs:

Die trockenen Zutaten vermischen und die Eier sowie die weiche Butter hinzufügen. Alles gut vermengen. Anstelle von Mandelmehl können auch Sesam- oder Kürbismehl verwendet werden, was jedoch den Geschmack und die Farbe leicht beeinflusst.

Eine Backform vorbereiten und diese gut mit Butter einfetten (oder mit Backpapier auslegen). Den Teig zwischen zwei Schichten Backpapier ausrollen und portionsweise in die Backform geben, oder den Teig einfach mit den Fingern auf dem Boden und am Rand der Backform formen (auf eine Höhe von 2-3 cm). Den Boden an mehreren Stellen mit einer Gabel einstechen. Die vorbereitete Basis im Ofen 8-10 Minuten bei 180 Grad Celsius backen.

Bereitung der Füllung:

Alle Zutaten in kleine Stücke schneiden. Den Lauch (oder die Zwiebel) in einem Esslöffel Fett anbraten, das geschnittene Gemüse, die geschnittene Krainer Wurst dazugeben und nach Geschmack würzen.

Das angebratene Gemüse auf die gebackene Basis geben und mit dem Belag übergießen, der aus Eiern, Sahne, geriebenem Käse und Gewürzen besteht.

Etwa 30 Minuten bei 170 Grad Celsius backen.
